It was at the end of winter 2016 that the idea of opening a furniture and decoration boutique germinated in Marie-Pier's mind.

A self-employed interior designer, she was tired of driving to furniture stores for her clients.

With her head full of ideas, she found a space on St. Jovite Street and started outfitting it in July to finally open NATUR furniture & design on September 2, 2016.

Since then, a few expansions and improvements have been made inside the showroom, the team has grown, the customers have multiplied. NATUR is proving to be a very successful venture!

On May 1, 2021, Marie-Pier acquired Matelas Laurentien, a well-known mattress store in the region that has been in operation for over 20 years. This strategic addition allows us to offer NATUR furniture and Matelas Laurentien customers a store that brings together everything for the bedroom under one roof.

No one knows what the future holds for NATUR furniture & design and Matelas Laurentien but one thing is certain, Marie-Pier's head is still bubbling with ideas!
